Welcome to Lagos Dental Centre
Dr. Innocent Nwanya grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, where he initially set out to study medicine. It didn't take long to realize that dentistry offered something medicine couldn't: the ability to see real, positive change in a patient's life in real time, without hospital calls, without the rigidity, and with the freedom to build something truly his own. He earned his BDS with distinctions from the University of Maiduguri, and his path through dental school was shaped by more than lectures and clinics. When regional conflict displaced communities near the university, Dr. Nwanya and his classmates stepped in to provide essential dental care to those affected. After graduation, he continued that work, volunteering with the Nigerian Red Cross to serve internally displaced people in Abuja during his postgraduate training.
