Lagos Dental Centre was built because Dr. Nwanya believes we deserve something more: a practice where patients are never rushed, diagnoses are always evidence-based, and the care is as warm as it is clinically excellent. We offer extended evening hours on Tuesdays — because your schedule matters. From routine cleanings to full-arch implant restorations, we're here for the whole picture, not just the next appointment.
The doctor behind the practice
Dr. Innocent Nwanya, DDS
Dr. Nwanya's path to dentistry spans two continents and a decade of clinical growth — from earning his BDS with distinctions at the University of Maiduguri and volunteering compassionate care to displaced communities with the Nigerian Red Cross, to completing his DDS at NYU College of Dentistry and earning membership in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. An active participant in advanced training at the Kois Center, one of dentistry's most respected continuing education programs, he remains committed to evidence-based dentistry and the latest clinical protocols. For Dr. Nwanya, practicing dentistry the right way means grounding every decision in scientific evidence, using the best materials, staying at the forefront of implant and comprehensive care, and delivering the compassionate care that reflects his belief that the relationship matters long after the appointment ends. That philosophy is what Lagos Dental Centre was built on — and it's what sets this practice apart.

The Kois Center is one of the most rigorous continuing education programs in dentistry. Dr. Nwanya's ongoing training there means you're receiving care grounded in the latest evidence and techniques.
